Seba Kayan is a Viennese DJ and artist who follows a forensic, political and metaphorical approach. In her DJ-sets, techno meets anatolian sounds, while a binary vision of an occidental vs. an oriental world is overcome. Referring to the ancestors, to a collective memory, Seba Kayan is offering a non-linear historical narrative that is referring to the past, which always already contains the future.
