Gast is the music project of Vienna-based artist and promoter Chris Attila Izsák. In their DJ sets, music from a wide bank of sources merges into each other and thus creates suspenseful musical sequences. Field recordings meet screwed drill-intros, guitar-music interweaves with screamo-acapellas and abstract compositions co-exist with beat-driven tracks ranging from footwork over to witch-house. They recently founded the music label Plot Toy and co-curate/organize the music event series Dishes at Volkstheater Wien as well as Hyperreality Festival as a collective.
