Born in Malaysia, Different Shades aka Anis Aziz crossed shores to Melbourne as a wide-eyed teen. Their formative years were spent exploring their coastal hometown and reaching far into the outstretches of the Australian bush. Now living in Berlin, Different Shades is best known for their dynamic and careful mixes, weaving through genre-bending selections and a heady palette of futuristic high-tech sounds, psychedelic rhythms, and deep chasmic atmospherics. They possess a finely-tuned ear for the powerful, as well as the delicate musical dialectic.
