HOUSE OF SKIN’s debut album ‘house of skin’ is a 9-track exploration of dub-infused sound alchemy that was recorded and produced between 2022 and 2025. The Vienna-based musician draws on both acoustic recordings and digital instruments, crafting a visceral sound design with a backdrop of subtle gestures, phantasmic textures, and warped rhythmical experiments. Unexpectedly, the voice, though often highly synthesized and unrecognizable, becomes a core element throughout certain tracks on the album. It’s a voice searching for its footing in volatile soundscapes, merging with jagged melodic motifs and askew beat structures.
